Tim's Peanut Brittle

Yummy, need I say more?

2c sugar
1c light corn syrup
1/2 c water
1c butter/margarine
2c peanuts (dry roasted no salt)
1tsp baking soda

Heat and stir sugar, syrup, and water in a pot until the sugar dissolves. When the syrup boils blend in butter. Stir often after 230 degree. Add nuts at 250 degrees. Stir constantly until 305 degrees. Remove from the heat and stir in the baking soda. Mix well. Pour onto 2 cookie sheets. Stretch thin by using a fork around the edges. Take off the pans as soon as possible.
